Tri-Counties Plant Service was established by

Bruce and Maggie Corelitz in 1983.

Our Story

Bruce Corelitz earned his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1975. In 1980, while Bruce attended Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, California, both he and Maggie worked in the budding interior plant industry. Maggie worked in sales at a large wholesale tropical plant nursery and Bruce as a maintenance tech supervisor for a major interior landscape company based in the Los Angeles area. With Bruce’s 2nd degree complete, in 1983 they returned to the San Luis Obispo area & combined their experience & education to start Tri-Counties Plant Service. 
 
They really are deeply rooted in their community and have spent many happy and fulfilling years coaching public youth sports (baseball, soccer, & basketball), playing music and volunteering as 4-H leaders. 

Thirty-four years and two grown children later, they are still excited to install and service contemporary interior landscapes, maintain their gardens and a greenhouse in Los Osos and to be part of so many great events supplying plants and trees all over The Central Coast.
